I'm consolidating forums, want to use prefixes to organize
 

I'd like to try to have simpler consolidated forums but would like people to still be able to select a topic to filter out threads, very similar to how the mods are separated.

It's rather tedious to open each forum, select all 100 visible items, add a prefix. go to next page and repeat for 1000s of pages.

Is it possible to use a SQL statement to insert the desired value for the prefix of each forum threads for all of them? and then move on to the next forum and value?

This way I'll only have 20 to do instead of thousands.

Any help is appreciated.
