Assistance in finding the correct mod / first post advert
 
Hi,

I've posted this here since I couldn't think of anywhere specifically more suitable.

I've seen on a number of forums, that the first post in a new thread is an advert.

Can somebody point me in the direction of a mod that will allow me to do this ?

Currently running 3.7.4, but can upgrade if needs be !

There is a built in function to do that in vBulletin 3.8.x. Upgrade and you can do that by editing "ad_showthread_firstpost" template.

Brilliant - thanks for that.

Now made plans to get my board upgraded this evening :)

I'd already ran through a test upgrade, but hadn't explored all new options !
