I think the buttons at the top are nice, but could be centered.

The the-livingrainforest link under the other 3 banners is an eyesore (I think the image isn't working correctly)

There's also a lot of boards, so it might be a little overwhelming for guests who aren't used to them all. Since so many titles start with "Reptiles" they all kind of blur together. I think it goes without saying that you're talking about reptiles if the site is based on them AND the category says it's about them.

i understand, we are changinga few things about it this evening, and thank you for the feedback, i will try and sort out the banner space.

put a colorful reptiles, snakes, lizards etc number of them scattered around the logo would be nice. SO your forum will not look too green.

and I agree to make it center, the logo and the menu butons.

Not a fan of dark schemes but this has class and style.
I disagree with napy8gen re: the reptiles around the logo. I think it looks cluttered and maybe just the one at the left would have sufficed?
As already mentioned, too many forums tend to blur the issue and I, for one, would go look elsewhere but then I´m not a reptile fan especially!.
Loads of clutter at the top too., Notices and the "Welcome to the Find Me A Reptile™ Reptile Forum" takes up too much real estate.
But on the whole, a nice colour scheme and decent graphics give it elegance. Well done
