Showing poll outside of thread
 

I'm looking at trying to display a poll outside of the actual thread it's attached too. For instance putting it on my homepage which isn't the vB homepage.

I understand I could use something like vBAdvanced for this but am looking for something a bit simpler.

Tried to use this mod (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=204586) but had all sorts of trouble with it. It just doesn't seem to work as it should.

So, basically would like a product/plugin that allows me to include a poll with functionality to vote and if already voted, show the current results.

Anyone done anything like this before?

I guess I should the lack of responses a big fat no.

I have seen threads about doing this before. I don't know if they posted the code in the thread though (I've never followed a thread about this cuz it isn't something I need).
