How is this done on this website.... the mods, styles and graphics forum do not show on the main forum index but have separate links in the menu... ? im sure they are in the forum hierarchy but how are they not displaying in the main page...i want to know that.

Actually this is done pretty easily.

That is an option when you create the forum.
Set the forum to a category, then make forums underneath. Voila!

Oh and forgot to add, to get the link to the new forum, when you create it, just click on the link to the forum in the Admin CP, and the link will show up in the address bar.
