New Car Site

Hey guys, new car site kinda... lol. Its been up and running for about a year and a half now, its slowly coming together.

The site is a non profit website and money is coming out of mine and my partner in crimes pockets. So we aint got loads of money to spend to put in loads and loads of functions.

I've no idea how to read coding so i'm slow at adding stuff. But i am trying. Been adding a few mods here and there. Testing them, Seeing if members like them or not etc..

Anyways, let me know what you all think. Don't be too harsh lol.

well...heres your main problem...

why cant I see the forum? Dont tell me you have it set that you have to register to see the forum??

thas very bad my friend.. I used to do that...and once I changed it...and got the werd out...i got a 100% increase in activity.

anyways...the skin looks great...forum is well put together...but you gotta make it so guests can check it out...maybe make SOME of the threads to members only...

just my 2 cents..coming from another car fourm owner.

I agree... The style looks nice, but the blocked forums isn't a good idea IMO.

At least have SOME boards visible to guests. I'd recommend this mod if you want to limit lurkers.

Like to look of that mod. I'll give it a shot over the next few days and see what happens

I expect the forum is very stylish just like the front page (though the two large graphics look garish in contrast)
However, my main bone of contention is that anyone who causes me to have to highlight text in order to read it doesn´t have my attention very long.
About half a second on average. No offence.
