Keep getting hacked
There is this moron that I banned from my forum a long time ago and now he keeps hacking into other members accounts and posting offensive things.
I have no idea how he is doing this. Can anyone help me stop this from happening? My forum is vBulletin® Version 3.6.8. |
1- change your host -- no matter what you will do, your host seems unsecured
2- change all your passwords -- no matter what, he have access somewhere 3- update vBulletin to the latest of its class... the newer the better for security ...track that person's IP.... sometimes it helps |

Is there any known exploit that can cause this to happen?
|
Do you have any "Admin log in as user" modifications installed?
|
I'll bet he's not hacking into their accounts. He's creating usernames that look just like theirs.

No, he was hacking into accounts.
I upgraded to the latest version. All seems good now. |
