Add posted images as attachment ?
 

Hey guys,

is there a hack or a mod available, which automaticly adds posted pictures as attachment? I mean I dont want to disable the img-tag but I hate it and some users still not know, how to use the attachment, but the problem is, that most imagehosters kill the pics after about 100 days or so. Therefore it would be useful to get a hack, which automaticly adds the pictures as attachment after submitting the post.

Any suggestions ?

I have never seen a modification to do this. I have seen a thread about doing this and a person posted that they wrote some code to do it. But, if I recall, there was a needed application on the server which the other person they were trying to help out didn't have access to. You can try to search out that thread and maybe PM the person about it (if you have that application on your server).

there was a hack that was uploading all the images in [img] tag, but if i remember, it was locked down due to POSSIBLE copyright infrigements... i suppose you can have it by asking for this... i don't remember the name, if i find it i will add a note.
