Error 404 Widget
1 Attachment(s)
A user clicks on the link to a page that no longer part of your site, your server is a 404 error (page not found) back. Since generic messages to the user can be frustrating, it is recommended to create a custom 404-error page for useful information about your site. Read the guidelines to create a useful custom 404-page.
You can also use your custom 404-a 404-page widget to add. Using the 404-Widgets users automatically receive useful suggestions instead of error messages.
This allows users to easily find needed information, and it reduces the probability that they leave your site and elsewhere are looking for. Sample If a visitor to the wrong URL (http://www.example.com/News/Neuestee) wants to call, we show the following: Attachment 98356 Installation

When a user clicks on a link to a page that does not exist, cannot be found, or has been deleted, the webserver returns a 404 error (page not found). Since generic messages can be frustrating, it is recommended to create a custom 404-error page containing useful information relavant site.
Using the 404-Google widget, suggested information is automatically displayed instead of the usual error message. This widget searches your website, and provides similar links to the user when he or she tries to access a page that cannot be found, or doesn't exist. This allows users to easily find important information, and it reduces the probability that they leave the site and search elsewhere. Example: If a visitor types in a URL ( such as http://www.example.com/example.html), and the webserver cannot find that page, (example.html) a webpage will be displayed with links similar to the one typed in, if any exist. Installation Upload 404.phpvia FTP into your root directory. In the vBulletin Admincp, import the XML file as a product. without vBSEO Modify the. Htaccess file in your root directory and paste in the first place the following line: Code: ErrorDocument 404 / 404.php with vBSEO Log into your vBSEO CP and make sure that the setting for the treatment of'404 'to add your own error page fault is set. There must be the absolute path to the 404.php be set. (Example: / home/user/public_html/404.php). Translated by nNJ. I made a few changes to the structure of the content, but the meaning is the same. It just didnt sound right in English when you translate directly. |

Does this send a 404 error code to the search engine? It seems pretty good.
