Word censor/replacement option
Ok I know how to do the basic censorship in my admincp - like for example censor "hack" to **** but lets say I want to replace the work "hack" to "cheat" how would I go about doing that?
Could someone please tell me how i can replace a word? Thanks in advance. I am using vbulletin 3.8.2 so if there is any mod or some type of template edit...please help me out |
AdminCP => Styles and Templates => Replacement Variable Manager

Or, there have been a few threads here in the last couple days about writing a plugin to just do this in the post message. Take a look in this forum at the posts for the last couple days and you should find them.

Can this also be used for forumtexts?
What I basically want: replace all of our sponsor's name types into the link of our sponsor. Probelm is: there are also pages and threads that carry the name of our sponsor, will this screw up the URL's and filenames? |
If you use the Replacement Variable Manager, it will change the words/urls everywhere on the forum.
