ESV Bible Verse with Audio

This will automatically pull a verse or verse range from the ESV Bible translation into your post when you type something like this

[bible]John 3:16[/bible]

It will show you the entire verse in ESV translation and include a mini flash audio player to hear the verse(s) audibly.

Installation

1. Upload attached bible icon to your forum's image folder
2. Go to admincp > bbcode manager
3. Click "add new bbcode"
4. Fill in the following fields
   • Title: Bible
   • BB Code Tag Name: bible
   • Replacement (see below)
   • Example: [bible]john 1[/bible]
   • Button: /images/bible-book.png

The rest of the options can be left to default.

Sorry, there is no Spanish version of the ESV (English Standard Version). Its their script after all.

This is pretty cool. I upload the bible book image and pointed the bbcode there, but I get no display on my post showing that image. The image shows up in the ACP BBCode area, so I know it is pathed right. See for yourself.

Also, is there a way to get rid of the links that say "[1]", "[2]", etc? They don't do anything anyway except reload the page.

The last thing is the link that says "(ESV)". I don't need to get rid of it, but can we at least make it load a new browser window so the user does not have to leave my site?
