Move AdminCP to localhost.. possible?

Just wondering how possible it would be to configure the admincp on my pc to control my main site. Im thinking that for security purposes it would be far safer having any kind of access to anything important like that in a place far away from the main vb files.

Just a thought but i would be very interested in your responses.

it's not safer to have it anywhere else... the only safety detail is to not give access to it.

change your admin password from time to time, limit the number of admins you have on your site...

each file of the adminCP is verifying who is visiting, logging all access and requiring an admin account for access, so even being in the nude in front of everybody would not make it less secure.

I am the only admin and im not in the habit of handing out free admin accounts and i understand that changing your password on a regular basis my stop some amatures from gaining access but from my recent experience it wouldnt have made a scrap of difference whether there was a password or not.

I dont understand a word of that but you havnt seen me naked... it would scare any hacker off !!

Thanks for your comments nexialys but my point is that if a hacker cant find my admincp then it makes it 10 times hard to be hacked.. right?
