Paid Subscription offering in the initial signup process

My users are willing to opt for a paid subscription at the very initial sign up.

But the subscription module is made to "upgrade" exciting members to a paid subscription after some time.

Has anyone tried integrating the offer for a paid subscription into the very initial sign up process?

How should one go about this?
