Fluid Design+fixed Images

I'm using Fluid design and I got a problem... when I try to design a fixed size, it looks different on every screen resolution, so I want and image to stretch and cover the post/message area without repeating or distorting...

someone told me about 'tables' inside my legacy template...

thanks

This is not a newbie job iogames. You have to cut your image into 3 section(leftbg, centerbg, rightbg) and code it in 3 column table and applied it into your posbit legacy. the center column make it fluid background repeat. the left and right fixed width size.

Posbit legacy have to devide into 2 separate table first.

only this way your postbit area will expand in fluid layout and look okay with fixed layout.

to see where posbit legacy:
style amnager> style name> edit templates> posbit templates> posbit legacy>

I have little experience in posbit legacy even I am scare to edit it :-)

but on this case is my problem resides on the 'post area'

Not exactly sure what you mean. Do you want the images to expand to whatever resolution the user has?

Hi all

I've got a similar problem. I'd like to have a fluid header with left and right side fix and also a fix center image (there is writing on that), the repeating (fluid) parts therefore should be on the left and right side of the center image and fill the spaces between center image and left and right bg.

Is that possible? Alternative it might be easier to keep the image as whole in the center and have the fluid parts on each side of it. But I don't know how to that either.

Can anyone help? I'd really appreciate it. The tutorial here is great, but with my image the writing (slogan) ends up on one side.

Thank you!
