vBulletin & SSL
So, here's the scenario. I want to offer my site in non-ssl as default, and ssl as an option (i have a cert).
How would I do this? The reason behind this isn't security, however to allow the site be access from businesses that block open proxies, but obviously can't block encrypted traffic, aka SSL-enabled vBulletin. Thanks! --------------- Added [DATE]1239450985[/DATE] at [TIME]1239450985[/TIME] --------------- Got it sorted, thanks anyway. |
I know - Old thread, but how did you solve the problem?

if you make your links look like
//www.example.com it would convert them to whatever the user used to visit your site. So if they use https it will be https:// and if they use http it will be http:// I havent used this much more than a few scripts so not sure of any negative side affects with vbulletin. Why not just use SSL strictly? |
