synching with active directory
Has anyone managed to get their vBulletin synched up with active directory? I have seen a couple of LDAP plugins but when it comes to that kind of thing I know absolutely nothing.
What I want to be able to do is use the same user database for vBulletin as I do for email etc. I think the LDAP plugins do that but do they stay synchronized? For example, if a user logs in to vBulletin and changes their password, does that change their password in Active Directory (and vice versa)? I don't necessarily need single sign-on, I just want the usernames and passwords to remain the same on vBulletin as they are for email etc. |
