not allowing replies in a particular forum
 
I have a particular forum that I would like to not allow any replies to the original threads in. I don't want to have to moderate replies, I simply want to not allow them at all. Regular registered users could create a thread, but no other users would be allowed to post a reply. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance for any help.

This is a simple forum permission. In your AdminCP, go to Forums & Moderators -> Forum Permissions.

You will need to specify which group of users gets to do what...But basically, you can set "Can Post Threads" to Yes and both "Can Reply to Own Threads" and "Can Reply to Others' Threads" to No for a group to get it to act like you want.
