Post a thread from website
 

Hi,

I would like to give users the option to submit a thread from the homepage of my website (outside of vbulletin).

To post a user will simply have to fill out the following information and click submit:

Title
Category (drop down box)
Message

Has anyone come across any sort of mod that can do this? Or how I can post this to the database myself?

I have searched for hours but can't find anything.

Well if the "homepage" or wherever they are posting can be set up to export a RSS feed, you can import it and direct it to a board... One major issue with that would be the would all be posted by the same "person".

Ideally if the user is logged in they would post from their username, else they would be posting as a guest.

Anyone else have any ideas? this would prove to be a valuable feature for forum and website integration.
