Keep threads away from pruning ???

Hi,
I'm newbie on vBulletin.

I'm looking for any modification or option that can keep some specified threads away from being deleted by prune.
Imagine, if we like to delete/prune the old threads, but some threads are valuable, and we like to keep them.
How to make those threads safe from pruning?

I mean, can we let's modulator to mark these thread as "un-prune-able" before the time.

Thanks in advance.

As far as I know, there is no default pruning system in VBulletin. All of the pruning we have on our site is done by modifications/add-ons.

I'm running 3.7.3 but I'm pretty sure it's the same for all versions.

There is a default pruning system in the admin cp > threads & posts > prune You have to do it manually - it isn't a scheduled task.

Alas, the included pruning system will only delete threads. What is really needed is a way to offline archive old threads. This would make pruning the db fairly easy.

Did not know that... lol... learn something new every day...

this is what I use

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...ht=move+thread

It can be set up to move threads to a certain board... like an "archive" board

I'm not sure I see the point of moving a thread after x days. The db won't have been pruned; it will still grow and grow.
