Handling Large Databases on a server-URGENT!
 

Okay... I'm ++++ed. I've been trying to operate ImpEx for the better part of 3 days now, and it's failed twice, leaving me high and dry. I finally get it to work once now and what happens? I do the real install, it pauses halfway and corrupts my database, and now I can't get at the ACP. I have a backup from earlier today on my FTP however, and I want to use this as the vBulletin database. But how can I do this without downloading it and then running it piece for piece in phpMyAdmin? If I was to do the whole thing, it still ++++s up. And it's so huge, it almost crashes my computer in a simple HTML editor!!! What can I do? I'm getting kind of desperate here and I'm running out of time to work with fast. My site has been down for approximately a day and a half. I don't want to make it another one. In addition, my mom just came in and told me that I'm spending too much time on the computer. This translates to me having almost NO time at all to do this before she shuts me off!!! Certainly not enough. :(:(:(:(:(
