tab_list doesn't display in IE

tab_list is being generated but not displaying in IE. This is because the Javascript used to set the height of tab_list is coming up as height:0px rather than height:28px

Does anyone know what values Javascript is using to generate the width and height of tab_list or has anyone seen this before?
