VB 3.8.1 New topic area removal
 

Hey

I've got a subforum with plenty of subforums. The forum itself is still open ( because it shows the "last post by" and "description" on the index that way ) but I want the "New topic" button and the list to disappear.

( I do not want to turn off the option "Act as a forum")

I seem to recall there is a mod that will do this. Did you try a search? It's usually best to search in "all mods" "titles only"

Yup, I did try a search and didn't find any mods. Maybe I searched using the wrong words or there is no mod.

key words would be "forum" or "hide", so that is what I searched on

I tried with various other keywords as I saw forum as the global aspect but you're correct.
