News from vBulletin?

Hello,

We're looking to change the way the news stories are handled on our website. Currently, we're using a custom developed program, but we'd prefer to place as much within to vBulletin as possible.

I have a few questions --
  1. Is it possible to have the newest post from X forum within vBulletin be considered the news headline on our front page (outside vBulletin)?
  2. Is there a modification or a possible way to assign an image to every news story? Our current system has a way to upload an image to display along with each headline.
  3. If we can display our news externally on the non-vBulletin parts of our website, can we make each posting display X words with a "read more" link to the entire article?
  4. If we have a "Read more" link, can we display an entire article with an assigned image on a regular HTML or PHP page outside vBulletin?
  5. Is it possible to display the latest poll in X forum from vBulletin somewhere outside vBulletin? We'd like to move our poll system to a regular forum poll in vBulletin.
  6. Is there a modification out there that facilitates all of this? With Invision Board, several years ago, we used a modification called SSIplus+, which allowed us to customize a template and then include it anywhere.

Thanks for your help! I'd really like to get the most out of vBulletin as possible.

Any ideas? Surely there should be a way to pull news stories for external display from a specific forum inside vBulletin!

Thanks for the recommendation. This will be nice to pulling external feeds onto my vBulletin forum, but I'd like to do something different: have my posts in forum X go to an RSS feed, which I can include on my non-vBulletin web page.

Saviour, I have considered vBadvanced CMPS. I'll look into it more closely this weekend. I mainly wanted to use my regularly designed web page and simply integrate vBulletin posts and polls, if possible, while avoiding the usual look/feel of a 3-column canned CMS. :)
