i got a question ,i want to know if its possible to lock somebody out of a topic

one person that cant view a topic

we have a birthday guy in a hospital ,a very sick guy

this guys visits our forum a lot !
but we don't want him to know his present
that we make with our other members

is there some sort of hack for this ?
to block his view to this topic ?

Create a new forum. Put him in a usergroup which can not see the forum?

I use this, but usually the person has to post in the thread first...

Also, you can make a new, temporary board.

Admin CP -> Forums -> Forum Permissions -> Disable guests from viewing

Admin CP -> Users - > Search user -> Find the user you want to not see the board -> Edit forum permissions (access masks) -> disable that board


He/she will never see the board, or anything in it.
