sending new members a PM from random staff member

I'm trying to welcome new members to the community but would like to inject the staff as random senders of the PMs to help the staff get noticed also.

Is there such a mod that exists? Does it seem within the realm of possibility if not?

I know you don't need a mod to do that you simply would change the user name on occasion in your welcome pm settings in vboptions area.
