Upload multiple attachments at once (as in hold shift / command and select all)
 

Hi guys,

Is there a way to modify vB to allow users to upload multiple attachments at once? I don't mean provide multiple browse / path boxes and allow them to select 1 attachment per box (as is currently doable) I'd like them to be able to hold shift or command (on a mac) to select 15 or so photos at once in one browse box before uploading.

Is there currently any type of hack or modification that would provide that functionality? If not, would anyone be willing to undertake the project (naturally I would be willing to compensate them)

There is no way to do it with stock vBulletin.

It *IS* possible without the user requiring a 3rd party program - imagevenue.com does it.

Not sure why, with all the coders on here and millions of hours of work they've put into their projects, why a multi-file uploader mod hasn't been made. :confused:

The new Asset Manager for version 4.0 will have this functionality.
