How can I limit the number of similar threads that show?
 
I would like to show only 3 similar threads rather than, I believe the default is, 5.

Is this an easy mod?

Open file includes/functions_search.php

edit the line that says LIMIT 5 with your number
There are 2 instances of it.

I believe they are sorted by the criteria in the message search relevance options page.

Similar Threads is a default vbulletin option.

Same edit, this time it looks like it's in packages/vbdbsearch/coresearchcontroller.php, in function get_similar_threads around line 167.
