load balancing vbulletin
Anybody load balanced vbulletin?
I was thinking about doing this, using Windows NLB (since i'm on Windows). I was going to sync all my forum data across a backend connected network so not to impact my members. I can get the data sync down to 5 secs, between my 2 servers. But then I have the MySQL db to contend with. I was thinking of replicating it across the backend also, but not sure how fast that would be. I believe I can replicate the db and this won't cause any overwrites or collisions of data. anyone done this? |
