I've been running this website for a few years, have had to close it and re-open it many times due to hosting and real life issues. Having trouble getting the community to build up, don't really have that many members and very few active members. I used to have a homepage with the CMPS, but I got rid of it and now most of the content is just there on the FORUMHOME. I customized the GARs script and bit to work much better along with the Photoplog gallery, and gamers who like to write articles can even submit their own gaming articles which can be featured and of course submitted to social bookmarking sites like digg.com...etc.

All of the proper social community features are in order, blogs, social groups, gamertag entry, and im using gxboxlive, and even have the tournaments/ladders script installed to throw some cool competitions if the community ever grows.

the skin is a customized skin that I kept simple, some say the forums are too dark but i've grown accustomed too it and like the style. i tried to make it a bit more web 2.0, and haven't really been looking to change it.

Edit the "powered by vbulletin" pharse in the site title. Insert important keywords instead of the "powered by phrase". But be careful not to edit the copyright.

The copyright at the bottom of the page has to stay. I am referring to the "Powered by vbulletin" title of your site.

For some reason your meta description is empty

This can have a negative impact on "how" search engines see your site.

Besides that, the contrast of colors - the white text on black - wokds out well

hmm...thats kind of weird that you suggested that to me. im pretty certain that i recently changes the site name to "RDYUP.com - Connect.Compete.Game" in the Site Name/URL/Contact Details area of the adminCP. I also just filled in the META description, which actually was blank. Thank you for the compliments and suggestions.

The "powered by vbulletin" is a phrase.

Edit the x_powered_by_vbulletin phrase and insert your own custom site title. Here is a thread at vbulletin.com on how to edit that - http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=88600

Some people get the "powered by" phrase and the copyright confused. The copyright at the bottom of the page has to stay.
