Rapid prototyping with AJAX
 
Hey folks,

I am starting a project next week that will be a web-based app based in vBulletin. The timelines are very short (aren't they always?) and it would be really helpful to do some rapid prototyping for the interface. Can anybody recommend a relatively inexpensive GUI for building AJAX interfaces? I'd love to make it a pretty advanced interface, as sexy as possible. If I could make gmail look like a 1996 web site... well, I'd be a hero. Har dee har har.

Ideally it would spit out some code I can run without an app server and could just put right into vBulletin templates. Is there such a monster? I've played with a few AJAX GUI builders but I'm new to the environment and haven't found anything that speaks to me yet.

vBulletin already uses YUI as its Javascipt engine, and there is plenty of documentation for this.
