Is this direct correct?

I have had issues with some link on the portal page, but the same links on other pages are working fine.

My domain name is directing to this address: http://www.reef2reef.com/modules/Jig/index.php

^^^this address is the one with errors^^^

If I type in this address though all the links work fine: http://www.reef2reef.com/modules/Jig/index.php

Is the top link wrong and should it actually be the second address?

Thanks.

Both those links look exactly the same to me and both work and take me to the same page.

Thanks Lynne, but if you use the first link and then try to open up links in the quick links drop down box they do not work. And if you use the second link and then try to open the links in the same box, they o work.

I can't see a Quick Links dropdown menu at either link.

But seriously, am I supposed to see some difference in the url for those two links? Or are you saying the *method* that got you to those links produces a different result (one with working Quick Links and one without)?

The quick links is on the home page nav bar.

I don't see the Quick Links because you need to be logged in to see it. If you want me to see it, you'll have to supply me with a test username/password.

I pmed you.

Thanks.

My guess is there are posts about this over on the vbportal site. But, basically, when you do a link like "thispage.php", then it is relative to where you currently are. in the case of being on your portal page, that means it tries to go to "http://www.reef2reef.com/modules/Jig/thispage.php". One way to fix this is to change the path to be relative to the home root, which means going "/forums/thispage.php" What method is being used for the other links in the navbar because they all seem to be correct.
