Private Message Throttle Check
 

What does this mean? Its in the usergroup permissions...

Theres nothing about it in the manual.

I was just looking at that option too and found that on Admin CP > Options > Private Messages Options > there is an option to set the "Throttle Check Period (minutes)"; this option sets the Period of time the system will check the number of messages an Usergroup can Post during that Period.

If you set 1440 minutes in this option, and 2 messages for certain usergroup, an user on that usergroup will be able to send only 2 private messages during 1440 minutes, and will have to wait another 1440 minutes before sending 2 other ones.

This option for private Messages is complemented by the following Mod:

Throttle Posts/Threads (restrict number of posts/threads by usergroup/forum by time)

It works Fine on vB373 and vB384.
