How to change profile field numbers???
 

I have profile fields and need to change the numbers to.

I have the full name profile field showing as field27 when it should be field1.

I edited the memberinfo template to field1 and it still doesn't change any help thanks!!!

Everytime I delete a field it goes to the next number how do I fix this???

I'm using vBulletin 3.8

Why is it necessary for them to be in the order that you want? What difference does it make?

Just like forum IDs, I don't think that profile field IDs can be changed once they are created.

You should never change an id in any of the tables. Id's are only internal references and changing them will only cause problems.

And especially don't change them to any number between 1 and 4 because I believe those are hard-coded in vB to be Biography, Location, Interests, and Occupation. You *will* screw things up if you try to change to one of those numbers.
