Supermods give permissions?
How do I give my supermods permissions to save users into different usergroups? I've been combing through the ACP and can't find it. I looked at the MCP, and they aren't able to save anything they do. Can anyone give me an idea where to look?
Thank you so much!!! |
If I recall, you can't unless you give them access to the admin panel also (with limited permissions).

How does one do that?

In the usergroup permissions, there is an option "Can Access Control Panel (is Administrator)" that you can set to Yes. Then when you edit the user, there is an added permission "Edit Administration Permissions" and there is a big list of permissions you can give them for different parts of the admin control panel.

Thank you so much! That is incredibly helpful!

You might want to try this on a user on a test forum first to see exactly what permissions are given to the user when you give them certain Admin access.
