Hi vB Pros,

I read some threads about moving pieces from forumhome to the header and all involved editing global.php and index.php - but I couldn't figure it out.

I want to move

$welcometext
$bbuserinfo[lastvisitdate]
$newposts
$logincode
$unregwelcomemessage

to the header.

How to do this?

I tried to play with the $ogincode bit, which was posted as a thread recently - it worked, but I didn't learn how to edit the global.php & index.php.
I don't know enough about these files.
