Mass Assignment to New Usergroup

Hi, I need to assign a members who choose gender = 'males' in their profile page to the secondary usergroup 'Males' and those who chose gender = 'female' to the secondary usergroup 'Females'.

Is using the mysql function admincp the only way? If so, can I get some advice on what the mysql statement shld be? I'm using vb 3.8. Tks!
