Showing 3.8.0 After Upgrade

I just upgraded my test forums to 3.8.1 but it is still showing as 3.8.0. I've verified it is using its own database and not the active site's database. I uploaded the files to the vbtest folder, ran the upgrade through vbtest/forum/install/upgrade.php and each step went fine.

Make sure you have uploaded all files before running upgrade.php. Also check the XML-file version in the right hand corner.

I reuploaded everything and still the same problem. It says 3.8.0 in the xml file check version.

Then you have not uploaded all the 3.8.1 files in the install directory.

I triple checked and the files are updated in the install directory. All I did to setup the test directory was copy all my files to vbtest. Duplicate the database with the name test_ added to the front of it. Then in the vbtest/forums/includes config.php I changed to the test db name and path to forums. I also updated in vb options the site url. Is there something I missed that is causing the install to look at the live site?

If you have uploaded the 3.8.1 XML files in the install directory, then it should not show as 3.8.0 in upgrade.php. Make sure you are not looking at a cached page.

If you can not solve this problem, then please open a support ticket.

Cleared my cache and tried it in a different browser but it shows 3.8.0. I opened vbulletin-style.xml on the server and it does show 3.8.1. So something must be causing it to look at the live site files?

Can you login to your AdminCP and check the Forum URL in your vBulletin Options. Also check if you have set a path in your config.php (should not be needed). Once you have changed the URL, try again.

Edit: I see you already checked that. Please open a support ticket.

Thanks for the help. Opening a ticket now.
