Remove Categories from showing in sub forum layout.
 

I have a forum, which is a bigger version of an old forum i used to run about a mobile phone handset, the ku990.

Now, before I had several categories with sub forums within each within a main forum and this displayed fine. However now I have placed this structure within another forum I'm getting some undesired results and wondered if anyone could help remove the categories from under the subforum in the display.

So the main forum is here: http://www.mygreatphone.com/forum/

Within that is an LG forum: http://www.mygreatphone.com/forum/lg-forum/

As you can see within the LG forum are a few handset's however because the KU990 subforum has an internal structure or categories and subforums the categories and shown below the subforum. If I remove the categories and bring the subforums within up a level then they are show underneath the KU990 subforum.

I've tried changing the forum view depth but it doesn't work as these are categories that are showing, not the internal subforums.

What i want is for the KU990 subforum to appear like the Arena, KF700 etc.

You already tried playing with the settings in vboptions > forum listings display options ? That is the only area I know of to set this sort of thing.
