Style specific smilies
I have members that gawk at my choice of a dark style so, I found a style everyone agrees on. (Almost everyone) :(
Since both styles get their smilies from the same location, "forums/images/smilies/grin.gif", how can I make the lighter style (almost white) get it's smilies from a different folder? The smilies for the dark style look really rough on the light colored style and I want to use a set made for light styles. Did that make sense? ... longggg day. |
I also posted this question over at vb and this is the reply. I'm posting this for others here that may have same question.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edit your smilie paths: Admin CP -> Smilies -> Smilie Manager -> [View] -> [Edit] In the Smilie File Path use something like this: {smiliepath}/image.gif Then create a replacement variable for each style: Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Replacement Variable Manager -> [Add New Replacement Variable] Create the replacement variable like this: Search for Text - {smiliepath} Replace with Text - images/smilies You can specify a different path for each style. |
