Want to make forum names ID based instead of Letter based..need help
 

yup just launched a forum and do not want to make the mistake I made with my other forums. I would like to make the forum titles ID based instead of Name based (for example: instead of ww.myforum.com/vbulletin-general-discussion , I would like -- htt://myforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=xx where x represents number)

I don't get it. what are you trying to say. I am going to implement vbseo as soon as 3.3.0 goes gold. It's RC1 now. default url structure?

Do you see how forum names on vb.org is ID based, that's what I want.

apparently you don't get it.. vBSEO is what converts this https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=111 into this http://www.vbulletin.org/general-vbulletin-discussions/

what you want comes default with vbulletin.. what you have is the result of using vbSEO, which is what vbSEO does..

if you want to use the current urls, with ID instead of title, do not buy vbSEO ... it will break all your dreams.

75% of what vbSEO does is create the right url for your pages... if you want ID instead, do not use that engine, there is other solutions for keywords and referrals.

Please accept my apology :o. I have vbseo in my current forum and I never realized it was vbseo that changed the way my forums look. I guess someone from VBseo confused the heck out of me when he said why I didn't implement ID system. Well, looks like I'm going over there (vbseo.com) and will be asking the guy, it's vbseo that changed it.
