post a thread with output of shell script
Hello. Is there a simple mod anyone knows that we can run in cron that will take the output of a designated shell script and post the output as a thread?
|
Do you allow PHP to run commands using exec()? (i.e. is it disabled in disabled_functions?)
|
Yes, we can run exec with PHP.

You can create threads using the vBulletin Thread Data Manager (see the manual, as well as the articles section). However, the best way to create a thread is by using build_new_post() (see how vBulletin does this in newthread.php).
