mod pages
I just know that this will have been asked and answered and I swear I have been searching and trying to find the answers but I'm afraid I've had no luck and am forced to post so please accept my apologies.
What I want to know is how do I go about creating a system like the mods area here where posts are more formatted instead of so free and where there's more formulated information? |
What do you mean more formatted and free?

Search for a mod called Chief First Post. I think that's what you're referring to.

No, must not have exaplained myself too well. If you look at the image attached you'll note the information that is completed at the top - the version number, the ticks for supported etc and the right-hand menu. These are all part of a template and I'm trying to work out how to do the same thing - even how to do the poll question at the top of the posts in that section.

The options are just some values stored along with each modification. Modified by going to a custom page.
