How to put a banner on the left side (only for guests)

Hi all!

I'd like your help to know which product or modification would install to have a left side banner (120x600) running along with the scrool bar, but only for guests?
I've tried this earlier, but without success, because it would reduce the forum display size for everyone (guests and registered users) and i just want this for guests.

Is it possible to do?
