my usergroups aren't working.
 

For some reason my usergroups aren't working. It's probably some sort of setting that has not been placed correctly.

Here is how I set it

added the usergroup "Photomaniacs!"
then I created a new forum in the membership forums called "Photomanics"

and then I changed forum permissions to deny all and then edited Photomaniacs to the view forum, view thread content, etc. but it isn't showing up if someone joins. I added it to a custom group as well when I added the usergroup.

Is Photomanics a secondary usergroup they join? Does their primary usergroup have "Allow Users to have Member Groups" set to Yes?
