Has anyone ever installed ANT? I don't get these instructions at all...

Do you have shell access into the server?

I don't even know what that means, I have godaddy hosting...

if you do not know what Dismounted said, i would recommend that you forget about that idea. Ant is an engine to develop java... it's not a game or a gadget for your website...

I need it for a chatroom I'm installing because I need red5 and it requires ANT.

you will need a complete new configuration for your site before making it so...

godaddy do not permit serverside engineering, so you will need a dedicated server to install Ant

if you do not know what is a Shell access, i suggest you go to a professional install from a webmaster or something, because it's a basic term, and installing/configuring these tools is a bit complex for someone who knows nothing about the webserver side.

and what is that chatroom which require a script developer?!
