Basic Design
 

Firstly a gripe, I tried mailing support direct with this first and got the reponse "Thank you for contacting vBulletin Support. We can not provide official support for customisations, but i think you will get your questions answered at vbulletin.org, our modification support website."

This is even after noting the first paragraph of my support request. I changed from phpBB to vbulletin, largely for the support - what a joke, not even an attempt to help (need not have been official support - just some friendly help! - sic!). Anyway, I hope some kind people that I have not paid can be courteous enough to offer up some help for a newbie non-techie struggling over here.

I have tried to post these requests in forum for answers after searching them so would appreciate any help as I am bein dragged to a stop here.

1. What is the best way to add left and right columns to my forum so I can use both spaces for banner adverts.

2. What is the best way to have a rotating banner.

3. Have managed to find out how to remove the vBulletin logo and also how to replace it with one of my own if I wish. What I would like to do is have something simple like the "vBulletin" image, only my own but I have no idea how to create such a thing! Any pointers for a free solution would be greatly appreciated. I would also like to have text appear to the right of where the "vBulletin" image is now, is this possible ?

as for rotating banner u could prob use a banner rotation script inside of a block (that you would create)
