I've Had the Day off work Today :-(
 

Been stuck at home all day with an ear infection, Quite painfull, had it over the past couple of days and this morning it was unbearable, Went to the doctors got some Antibiotics and Ear Drops. :(:(

Been on here for most of the day so that cheered me up :D

When was the last time you were off work for illness?

The worst pain I ever experienced was an ear infection in my mid-teens. For a whole month, I couldn't even move, get up or do anything the pain was that bad.

One of the side effects (because it was that bad) was I had trouble balancing myself, blurred vision. If memory recalls the doctor gave me some kind of large soluble tablets which took a week or thereabouts to have any impact. :erm:

Last time I was off work was about 7 years ago. Wasn't an illness as such but personal matters.

is morning sickness is a good reason why not going to work?... because i plan having babies, as my wife said she wanted a stop for a moment... lol

I'm normally quite hardy, never let anyhing bother me but this is a new type of pain for me, Its always on, if you see what i mean, Plus you can't just forget about it cos its right in your head :(:(

Hope i'll be ok tommorrow i drive 35 mile to work and 35 miles back :confused:

wasnt sure why the sad face was in the title. a day off is golden! but sorry to hear about your ear ache. that stinks.

Thanks buddy, I rarely take a day off apart from Sundays so Today has been peaceful and quiet, and has made a nice change :)

taking a forced- vacation when you're always on a schedule is always hard to deal with, even more when you're sick... now in the next days you will have to work harder to recover what was not done during your sickness... aye! good luck!

(i'm never sick and always late in my work, i would not find it funny to be sick even just one day)

days off really are nice. and when you work hard, it makes the days off that much better.
