Emails being sent as nobod@lonestarr -- not receiving emails now

Hey guys - so I used to get a ton of email regarding thread subscription, new thread creation, etc. But now I am not. I contacted my host and they said logs show that the emails are being sent out as nobody@lonestarr.liquidweb.com and that ISP emails filter stuff like this out from time to time.

How can I change this? They mentioned something about suPHP but I am not sure what that is

Apache is running as nobody, so ie. it gets sent out as nobody.

Most host dont block mail for that one reason, there are probably other issues with your domain name, not being setup right, without seeing the logs, we can't pin point the specific reason, seeing as you dont post your domain email it to me and ill chk a few things for it.

The logs will tell you everything, the same thing i posted in your last thread about this, i assume this is a vhost server and not dedicated/vps as the email domain is also incorrect.

Thanks for the input!

I have a log that shows the emails being sent out properly. I just sent my work email a test email thru Vbulleting:

You are receiving this email because your email address was entered as an email test at ::NEWSWEDEN::.

The first step of this email test script has been completed. However, a formatting test is still necessary:

A paragraph break.
A single line break.

Another paragraph break.
Another single line break.
Another single line break.

If the above lines look correct, you are finished. The email features on your server are setup correctly.
If this email is run together on one line, there is possibly a configuration error with your mail server. Please ensure it is configured correctly.

So it seems like a comcast.net issue. The web host support says I should look into configuring suPHP but I don't know what that means really :)

If you have the log, why did comcast reject the email?

Not sure why :(

It hits my work email just fine! Strange - it was working for the longest time too.

Do you have the log as you stated above?

If you have the log file, search for comcast and look for the rejected reason or code ie 550
