Losing control over signups

I am now getting 20-30 fake spammer signups per day on my forum.
I am losing control over this.

Do people actually manually type in these signups? Or are these signups automated? Does anyone know?

How can I stop them?

I have captcha on, I have extra fileds in the db, I do manual approval. Yet they come in hordes.

In the list of "List Users Awaiting Moderation" I am unable to see who is legit and who is not.
So I have to manually go through 3-4 pages for each of 30 fake signups every day, this takes half an hour and is not sustainable.

Is it possible to have more information about each singup in the "List Users Awaiting Moderation" so I can more easily see who are legit?

I seriously need help here to save the forum.

<a href="https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=183329" target="_blank">NoSpam!</a> cut my spam registrations to zero.

Thanks.
I am running 3.7
Where do I find this feature, the one included?

The bogus registrations you are getting are being done with automated software, no people needed. The tool you use to shut them down depends on your own preferences. At least a dozen have been posted here and the ALL claim to solve the problem. Try to enable the recaptcha on your site, it is apparently still impervious to the spammer scumbag tools, so far. It is free, you just need to register with recaptcha to get the key to enable it. If you are still plagued by them after that try *** Advertising removed ***.
HTH

edit: oops, sorry about that ...

your admin cp has a feature that stops them 100%.

Use the custom question on signup.

Like "What is the opposite of HOT?"
answer : "cold"

it stops spammers 100% before they can even signup.

That's actually not true, it stops them during the signup and present an error if they fail to enter the correct code just like ALL the other custom question hacks do.

Most spammers use human aided registrations lately. The software will take care of part of the registration process, and a human will enter any CAPTCHA etc.. There is no way to stop registration for this type of spammers.

which keeps them from registering. My solution is still 100% correct.

And as Marco mentioned, if the registrations are aided, those solutions are powerless.
