how to restrict guest and member viewing Who's Online(Activity list) by clicking "Currently Active Users:" at the homepage?

AdminCP -> Usergroup Manager -> {Select Usergroup} ->
Who's Online Permissions -> Can View Who's Online

For the Logged in Users on the index.php page - vboptions > forum home options > display logged in users > select from the dropdown

but i wanted to do is disable this page only

but they still view who is online now at the homepage bottom.

Wanna do this but only want to disable it for members, and not for the admins/co-admins ?

Always have around 300 members online, trying to get the webpage to load faster :(.

Disabling that one little area is not going to make much difference at all. I'd be surprised if you even notice any difference. Why don't you try looking at your modifications and see about eliminating any you don't need and/or any that add queries to pages.

As Lynne has said, slim down to modifications you need (as opposed to wants). However, disabling that section can bring improvement, the query used is actually quite consuming.
